Partition Logic is a free hard disk partitioning and data management tool.  It can create, delete, format, defragment, resize, and move partitions and modify their attributes.  It can copy entire hard disks from one to another.

g4u ("ghost for unix") is a NetBSD-based bootfloppy/CD-ROM that allows easy cloning of PC harddisks to deploy a common setup on a number of PCs using FTP. The floppy/CD offers two functions. The first is to upload the compressed image of a local harddisk to a FTP server, the other is to restore that image via FTP, uncompress it and write it back to disk. Network configuration is fetched via DHCP. As the harddisk is processed as an image, any filesystem and operating system can be deployed using g4u. Easy cloning of local disks as well as partitions is also supported.

Daphne is a small (system tray) application for killing, controlling and debuging window's processes. You can kill a process by dragging the mouse over the windows, by right-clicking the process in the main process list, or by typing its name with the "Kill all by name" command. You can set a any window to be always on top, to be transparent, to be enable, et cetera. The main window displays a list of currently running process with detailed information about:
    * CPU usage
    * Process ID
    * Process name
    * Full path (and arguments)
    * Priority
    * Class (Process / Service)
    * Current memory usage
    * Peek memory usage
    * Current swap usage
    * Peek swap usage
    * Number of threads

MD5summer is an application for Microsoft Windows 9x, NT, ME, 2000 and XP which generates and verifies md5 checksums.

Its output file is compatible with the output of the Linux GNU MD5Sum and it will also read Linux generated files.
It is released under the General Public License, the source can be downloaded from the downloads page (down the bottom).
MD5summer is written in Borland Delphi 7. Source is available from the download page.

RapidCRC is a tool for windows for checking and creating CRC32 and MD5 checksums; this comprises:

• SFV files
• MD5 files
• specialty: direct support for CRC32 in the filename (common for anime releases; for example "MyFile [45DEF3A0].avi")

This helps you to check and ensure that your files are OK and not corrupted.

Goal is to use the fastest available open source (assembly) implementations for this task. Currently these implementations are used in RapidCRC:

• CRC32: i386 assembly implementation (one byte table lookup)
• MD5: OpenSSL MD5 i386 assembly implementation
• MD5: reference implementation from RFC (much slower; available at compile time. Not used in the release version of RapidCRC)

GParted is an industrial-strength package for creating, destroying, resizing, moving, checking and copying partitions, and the filesystems on them. This is useful for creating space for new operating systems, reorganizing disk usage, copying data residing on hard disks and mirroring one partition with another (disk imaging).

Jigsaw Download, or short jigdo, is a tool designed to ease the distribution of very large files over the internet, for example CD or DVD images. Its aim is to make downloading the images as easy for users as a click on a direct download link in a browser, while avoiding all the problems that server administrators have with hosting such large files.
